What is Double Harvest Mission?

  • Double Harvest (DH) operates to establish and develop agricultural projects, by providing capital resources and implementing best practices to increase food production, and to build the local economy.

  • Being followers of Jesus Christ, we are guided by His example and the principles outlined in the Bible, and therefore support and implement ministries that reflect our deep concern for the physical and spiritual needs of people.  Our objective is a “double harvest”.

  • As we work to develop our agricultural projects, we often find our co-workers and neighbors have critical physical and spiritual needs that are not being met. Responding to these needs we have built churches, clinics, houses and schools. We have piped drinking water to the local villages and taught the basics of sanitation. We have sent out evangelists, hosted daily morning devotions, and provided pastoral care for patients and workers.

Double Harvest Haiti Ministries

  • DOUBLE HARVEST-HAITI is a 200 acre project about 10 miles outside of Port-au- Prince (due East).

  • AGRICULTURE – Reforestation, Vegetables, Sorghum, Chickens/Eggs, Tilapia

  • CLINIC – Medical & Eye Clinic that includes housing for visiting medical teams

  • SCHOOL – Almost 500 students Pre-K through Grade 13

  • CHURCH – Pastor Garry August Leads The Eglise Baptiste Evangelique Church on the school site

  • ORPHANAGE- Ashley’s Orphans

  • HOMES – Building needed homes in the area

Ways We Can Partner

  • Sponsor A Child

    • $45 per month includes one child’s tuition, health and dental care, hot each school day

    • Sponsor will receive a profile of child, academic report card, annual photo and overall Double Harvest ministry report

  • Adopt A Patient

    • Help with patient care ($10/visit/client) clinic cost

    • Sponsors can contribute, $10 – $20 or $30+ per month to cover patient care costs

  • Adopt A Home

    • $8,000 for a single family home

    • $12,000 for a duplex home

  • Prayer

    • Praying is God’s method of bringing about results.

  • Ministry Opportunities

    • Potential to host a Haiti Vacation Bible School

    • Potential to host a medical missions team or collaborate with other med teams

    • Potential work/construction related project teams
