What should we remember in fearful times?
Jesus says Remember Your Home - “In My father’s house are many rooms”
Jesus says Remember My Character - “if it were not so, would I have told you?”
Jesus says Remember My Purpose - “that I go to prepare a place for you”
Jesus says Remember My Return - “And if I go and prepare a place you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
Jesus says Remember My Plan - 4 And you know the way to where I am going." 5 Thomas said to him, "Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?" 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Hebrews 2:14-15 NIV - 14 Since the children of God have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death--that is, the devil-- 15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
Ephesians 3:16-21 ESV - 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith--that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
